7:24 p.m. ET, HALFTIME — Purdue leads Milwaukee 39-20 at the end of the first half. Both teams shot just 31% from the floor. The scoring has come in spurts, and it's been enough to mount a double-digit advantage to this point.

7:11 p.m. ET, UNDER 4 — Mason Gillis is on the board for the first time tonight, rounding the corner and nailing a rhythm 3-pointer. Purdue leads 34-20 with 3:35 before the break. Brandon Newman leads all scorers with 11 points.

7:00 p.m. ET, UNDER 8 — Braden Smith is doing it all for Purdue basketball right now. He's got three steals to go along with five points and a team-high four rebounds. The Boilermakers are on an 8-0 run after the freshman guard threw an alley-oop to Zach Edey for the big man's first points of the night. 24-12 with 7:44 before halftime.

6:59 p.m. ET — A confident pull-up jumper from Braden Smith, and he nails the 3-pointer. Purdue is just 2-of-7 from deep.

6:55 p.m. ET — Braden Smith swipes the ball away and gets Purdue in transition. He finds Trey Kaufman-Renn for a difficult layup, and Brandon Newman takes the ball away on the next possession before finishing at the rim. The Boilermakers are on a 6-0 run.

6:49 p.m. ET, UNDER 12 — Brandon Newman snaps a streak of 10 missed shots from Purdue, hitting a mid-range jumper. The Boilermakers lead 10-8 with 11:38 before halftime and are struggling to pull away from the Panthers so far in the first half.

6:42 p.m. ET, UNDER 16— Purdue has missed its last four shots from the field but has gotten to the free-throw line to generate its last four points. The Boilermakers lead 7-2 with 15:39 still to play in the first half. Zach Edey is 0-for-3 to start the game.

6:36 p.m. ET – Milwaukee makes the first basket of the game, courtesy of BJ Freeman, but freshman guard Fletcher Loyer gets the first bucket of the game for Purdue by sinking a 3-pointer on the next possession.

6:35 p.m. ET — Purdue defense pushes Milwaukee to the end of the shot clock on two straight possessions. Braden Smith draws a charge and the game remains scoreless after just under two minutes of play.
