How to Watch Purdue Football's Home Finale Against Northwestern

Purdue football is back at home on Saturday, taking on Northwestern in the team's final home game of the season. The game is scheduled to kick off at noon ET inside Ross-Ade Stadium, and the Boilermakers will be celebrating Senior Day.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Following a 31-24 road victory over Illinois last week, Purdue football is looking for its second straight win when it welcomes Northwestern to Ross-Ade Stadium on Saturday for the team's final home game of the season. 

The game marks Senior Day for the Boilermakers, who have a total of 27 seniors on the roster. A win would give them a 4-2 record at home for the 2022 campaign and the third victory over the Wildcats in the last four years.

  • Series history: Purdue leads the all-time series between the two programs, owning a 52-33-1 record against Northwestern. The Boilermakers have won the last two games but are 2-3 against the Wildcats under head coach Jeff Brohm.
  • Weather: According to weather.com, at noon ET on Saturday in West Lafayette, it's going to be around 26 degrees with a 0% chance of rain and winds from the southwest at 16 miles per hour.

Last meeting: Purdue 32, Illinois 14

The last time these two teams met was on Nov. 20, 2021, at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Aidan O'Connell threw three touchdown passes to wide receiver Milton Wright, who led the team with eight catches for 213 yards receiving, in a 32-14 win. The Boilermakers never trailed and scored on their first two possessions in the second half.

Purdue: Jeff Brohm enters his sixth season at the helm for the Boilermakers. He has posted a 43-33 overall record with the program. Brohm has a career head coaching record of 64-43. His alma mater is Louisville (1994).

Northwestern: Pat Fitzgerald is in his 17th year with the Northwestern football program and has a 110-99 record with the Wildcats. His alma mater is Northwestern (1997).
