WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. β€”Β The Purdue Boilermakers return home after a victory over Iowa, and they'll face the Wisconsin Badgers at Ross-Ade Stadium.

Purdue enters the game at 4-2 record on the year, and were ranked in the AP Top 25 Poll this week for the first time in 14 years. Despite the team's No. 25 ranking, it is an underdog against Wisconsin, a team it hasn't defeated since 2003. The game. is scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. ET. Here's how our LIVE BLOG works. We'll keep you updated on everything that goes on in the game in real time, keeping you up to date on injuries, scoring plays and trends. Throughout the game, I'll provide my own analysis as well.Β 

It's a great opportunity for the Boilermakers to ride the momentum of last week's win in front of a sold-out crowd. Follow along and let's have some fun:Β 

6:10 p.m. ET, FINAL β€” Wisconsin kneels the ball to end the game, securing a 30-13 victory at Ross-Ade Stadium.Β 

6:01 p.m. ET β€” Following the turnover, the Badgers executed four plays and settled for a 43-yard field goal. Wisconsin leads 30-13 with 4:06 left to play.Β 

5:59 p.m. ET β€” Purdue quarterback Jack Plummer kept the ball on a rushing attempt, but fumbled the ball away to the Wisconsin defense. The Badgers have forced five takeaways on the afternoon.Β 

5:41 p.m. ET β€” Wisconsin cashes in on the takeaway with a 14-yard scoring run by Braelon Allen. The Badgers take a 27-13 lead with 10:13 left to play.Β 

5:36 p.m. ET β€” Aidan O'Connell has been under pressure all afternoon. While scrambling, he sailed a ball over the outstretched arms of running back King Doerue, and it feel into the hands of a Wisconsin defender. Purdue has thrown three interceptions and lost a fumble today, giving the Badgers every opportunity to seal the game.Β 

Purdue trails by seven points with 11:08 left to play in the fourth quarter.Β 

5:27 p.m. ET, END Q3 β€” Payne Durham is Purdue's leading pass-catcher with eight catches for 99 yards and a touchdown. The Boilermakers will start the fourth quarter with second-and-nine from the 41-yard line.Β 

5:10 p.m. ET β€” A great punt from Purdue's Jack Ansell goes to waste on Wisconsin's next possession. The Badgers opened their drive from the six-yard line, but Braelon Allen rushed for 70 yards to put them in scoring position.Β 

Two plays later, running back Chez Mellusi broke a tackle in the backfield and raced into the endzone from 24 yards out to give Wisconsin a 20-13 lead with 6:06 left in the third quarter.Β 

4:53 p.m. ET β€” First drive of the second half with much of the saem from the Purdue offense. O'Connell passes the ball over the middle to Durham, who has the ball wrestled away from him by a Wisconsin defender.Β 

It's the third takeaway by this Badgers defense, and the Boilermakers have been unable to get any sort of rhythm.Β 

4:29 p.m. ET, HALFTIME β€” Purdue and Wisconsin are tied 13-13 after two quarters, and the Boilermakers will receive the ball to begin the third quarter. They have just 83 yards of total offense so far.Β 

Defense leading the way once again, keeping the team in a competitive matchup.Β 

4:22 p.m. ET β€” Purdue's defense stuffed the Wisconsin rushing attack on three straight plays from the one-yard line, forcing the Badgers into a field goal attempt to tie the game. The kick was good, and the score is now 13-13 with 2:06 left to play in the first half.Β 

4:16 p.m. ET β€” O'Connell throws his second interception of the game, and wide receiver Milton Wright makes a touchdown-saving tackle at the one-yard line. The Purdue offense has just 44 yards of total offense so far this half.Β 

4:01 p.m. ET β€” Defense stepping up huge after the offense's mistake. Jamari Brown came on a cornerback blitz and stripped Wisconsin quarterback Graham Mertz. George Karlaftis scooped it up and rumbled 56 yards for a touchdown to give Purdue a 13-10 lead with 6:13 left to play in the first half.Β 

Kicker Mitchell Fineran was unsuccessful on the extra point.Β 

3:58 p.m. ET β€” Aidan O'Connell was under pressure, flushed to his left and tried to force a pass to Broc Thompson on the same side of the field. Wisconsin cornerback Caesar Williams stepped in front of the ball for the interception.Β 

Badgers take over in Boilermaker territory.Β Β 

3:53 p.m. ET β€” Wisconsin answers with a 37-yard field goal to take a 10-7 lead with 8:54 left in the second quarter. The Badgers already have over 100 yards rushing, averaging 5.8 yards per carry.Β 

3:42 p.m. ET β€” Tight end Payne Durham finds pay dirt to equalize the scoreboard in the second quarter. Aidan O'Connell's pass goes for 10-yards, bringing the score to 7-7 with 14:16 left in the first half. The scoring play ends a four-play, 39-yard drive.Β 

3:35 p.m. ET, END Q1 β€” Wisconsin was fortunate on a long punt return attempt as the deep man muffed the ball and it was nearly recovered by Purdue. However, on the subsequent play from scrimmage, Boilermaker cornerback Jamari Brown forced a fumble that was recovered by the defense. It's the first fumble recovery by the defense this season.Β 

Purdue's offense get an opportunity to points on the board, starting from the Badgers' 39-yard line. After three plays, the Boilermakers will face first-and-10 from the 11-yard line to start the second quarter.Β 

3:28 p.m. ET β€” The Badgers cap off a long scoring drive with a four-yard touchdown plunge by freshman running back Braelon Allen. After being back up deep in their own territory, Wisconsin's offense went 92 yards to score the first points of the game.Β 

Purdue faces a 7-0 deficit after never trailing against Iowa a week ago. There is 2:49 remaining in the first quarter.

3:20 p.m. ET β€” Wisconsin takes its first timeout of the game and will have first-and-goal from the Purdue 13-yard line. The Badgers have already run 11 plays for a total of 84 yards this drive, but the Boilermakers will look to hold them to a field goal.Β 

3:00 p.m. ET β€” Purdue wins the coin toss and elects to defer to the second half. Wisconsin will receive the ball to start the game.Β
