WATCH: Purdue Fans Erupt at Mackey Arena Watch Party as Boilers Beat North Carolina State

Purdue has advanced to the national championship after defeating North Carolina State 63-50 in the Final Four on Saturday. Fans who attended the watch party at Mackey Arena went crazy as the score went final in Phoenix.

Purdue fans everywhere were celebrating on Saturday night, as the Boilermakers punched their ticket to the national championship on Monday night. Purdue defeated North Carolina State 63-50 to advance to title game.

State Farm Stadium was filled with Purdue fans on Saturday, but not everyone could make the trip to the desert. So, back in West Lafayette, the university hosted a watch party at Mackey Arena.

As the score went final, Purdue's social media team posted a video of the atmosphere. Needless to say, everyone inside the iconic basketball venue was ecstatic to see the Boilermakers advance.

Those fans will want to get plenty of rest, as they'll be heading back to Mackey Arena on Monday night to cheer on the Boilers in the championship game.

Zach Edey had another big game for Purdue, scoring 20 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in the win. He also had four assists and two blocks in the victory.

The Boilers also got 14 points from Lance Jones and 11 from Fletcher Loyer. Mason Gillis was the only player to come in and score off the bench, getting eight points. He knocked down two big 3-pointers in the win.

Purdue is now playing in the national championship game for the first time since 1969. The Boilers are hoping to secure their first NCAA Tournament national championship in program history.

Monday's national championship game is scheduled for 9:20 p.m. ET.
