Why He’s an SI All-American: Boston played on a team with a cult-like following with LeBron James’ son, Bronny, Dwyane Wade’s son, Zaire, and a handful of elite players on the roster. Still, despite all of the potential distractions, Boston’s star shined the brightest this season for the Trailblazers, leading them to a 30-4 record.

The Trailblazers were favorites to win their third CIF Southern California Open Division title, but the game was cancelled due to the COVID-18 pandemic. Boston averaged 21.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.1 steals a game. Boston’s dominance was a carryover from the summer where he was one of the most dominant guards in the country.

Boston ran with AOT (Ga.) in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League and averaged 22.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists a game. Boston was even more dominant during bracket play of the Nike Peach Jam, widely regarded as the most grueling tournament of the summer, averaging 32 points a game, despite playing alongside SI All-American first teamer Sharife Cooper.
