What’s up guys, Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe here and I’m teaming up with Sports Illustrated to let you guys know my decision. It’s been a tough process, but it’s helped to have my parents, coaches and trainers by my side.

At the end of the day I decided to go to Oklahoma State.

Bottom line is that it really felt like home, and I know that’s cliché to say but it’s so true.

When I went on the visit Coach (Mike) Boynton really laid the plan out for me in terms of what they need from me. They want me to get downhill and score in transition and shoot when I’m open.

They’re losing a lot after this year and there’s a lot of time at that three spot so it really appealed to me.

Of course they have Cade Cunningham coming next year too and that alone made up about 40 percent of my decision right there.

Cade is gone after his first year, we all know that, but he’s a great player and a guy that I really wanted to play with. We played together at Pangos All-American Camp and he’s one of the most unselfish players I’ve ever played with.

He keeps it simple and that’s what my game is all about. His scoring ability is really underrated to me, but just having that element opens up so much more for the offense.

He was texting me throughout the whole process, just saying “You know what to do” and things like that.

I know that we’re gonna make a strong duo.

Our team will be strong next year; we’ll be young, but we’ll be dangerous with a couple vets and a great staff.

Right now, I’m trying to add J.T. Thor to our class. I’m already texting him trying to see where his head is with the whole process. I really want him on the squad with us.

Me, J.T. and Cade all played together at the Pangos Camp and we all had a great chemistry out there so I know it would carryover to next season.

OK, guys I appreciate you guys reading my Sports Illustrated blog breaking down my decision.

I’m glad to have it all over and done with, and I’m definitely glad to be a part of the family at Oklahoma State!
