Consensus 4-Star Linebacker Desmond Tisdol to Auburn

Desmond Tisdol is a highly coveted linebacker from Wilcox County High School in Georgia. Tisdol has announced he is signing with the University of Auburn.

Desmond Tisdol, a speedy linebacker standing at 6'0 and 215 pounds, chose the Auburn Tigers over South Carolina. He was also considering offers from Florida and Georgia Tech.

Tisdol helped lead his Wilcox County (Ga.) team to a 9-3 record playing a host of positions for the Patriots including running back, linebacker, and jumbo safety.

He has the lateral movement and versatility to play linebacker or an in the box safety on the college level depending on the scheme, situation and opponent.
