Head Coach Dawn Staley and the South Carolina Gamecocks are on to round two of the NCAA tournament, where they'll see, for a second time, the North Carolina Tar Heels. Coming off a 52-point victory over Presbyterian in the first round, the Gamecocks had a few impressive individual performances from freshman phenom MiLaysia Fulwiley, who finished with 18 points, and a dominant performance from Chloe Kitts, who finished with 21 points and 13 rebounds, while coming off the bench.

The Gamecocks are coming into this matchup as a 21.5-point favorite over the Tar Heels, who survived a late push from Michigan State, who was down 10 points with just over a minute to play in the game. However, North Carolina got huge rebounds from their own missed free throws, securing the victory at the end of the game. As both teams prepare for the matchup tomorrow afternoon, if the first matchup tells us anything, it could make for another fun March Madness game.
