Where South Carolina's MBB Team Ranks In SEC At End Of January
In the past eight days, Lamont Paris and South Carolina's men's basketball accomplished a feat that hadn't occurred since 1968: beat two Top 10 teams in a three-game span, dominating No. 6 Kentucky last Tuesday and knocking off No. 5 Tennessee in Knoxville last night. While AP Poll and Coaches Poll voters have drawn the ire of Gamecock fans everywhere due to Carolina being unranked, important efficiency metrics that the NCAA Tournament selection committee values are beginning to view Paris' squad in a more favorable light.
