With the conference regular season title and Dawn Staley's 600th win all locked up, the South Carolina Gamecocks can now focus on finishing the regular season strong. That task will continue tomorrow afternoon when they go on the road to take on the Kentucky Wildcats.

This is the second matchup of the two SEC counterparts' home-and-home series this season. The last time these two squads squared off, it wasn't particularly close, with the Gamecocks defeating the Cats 98-36, holding Kentucky to 24.6 percent shooting from the floor and their star player, Ajae Petty, to just two points. What fans will have to monitor is whether or not Kamilla Cardoso will be available for this game after missing last Thursday's bout versus Alabama due to general soreness.

If Cardoso can't play, it could make things more interesting as the Carolina frontcourt wouldn't have anyone who could simply overwhelm Petty with their length. We saw what happened to the Gamecocks against Georgia's Javyn Nicholson, and that was a game where Kamilla was playing. As long as they can avoid that scenario playing out once again and in a road environment, South Carolina should take care of business in the Bluegrass State.
