How To Watch: No. 1 South Carolina Vs. Clemson
After the Gamecocks beat two top 15 teams in their first two matchups by an average of 33.5 points, Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks quickly reclaimed the No. 1 spot in the AP Top 25 Poll. They'll look to continue adding to their dominant streak tonight against Clemson, who enters this game 3-0 on the season.
While this will be Clemson's first actual test of the season, they have beaten their opponents by an average of 28 points per game. The Tigers are led by forward Amari Robinson, averaging 21.3 points per game and 7.3 rebounds. As a whole, Clemson is averaging 82 points per game.
However, South Carolina is already plenty battle-tested and haven't lost a game at the Colonial Life Arena since the 2020-2021 season. A team that was told it would be in a rebuilding season has found a way to look even more potent in certain areas. In the first two games, six Gamecocks are averaging 10 points per game or more, led by senior center Kamilla Cardoso, who is averaging a double-double. Can South Carolina crack 100 points for the third time this season, this time against their archrivals? Here's how you can find out:
