If there were a song that could be used to describe Dawn Staley's coaching career in South Carolina, it would be Trophies by Drake due to all of the hardware she has brought home, not just with her team but also for herself. In the past five years alone, Staley has been named the women's college coach of the year in four separate seasons by multiple award associations. Once she returns to Columbia, Dawn will have to make more room in her trophy case, as she was named the Naismith Women's College Coach of the Year award winner on Wednesday afternoon.

It marks the third consecutive season the Philadelphia native has been bestowed with this honor. While this is a significant accomplishment, Staley will have little to no time to celebrate as her team gets ready to play the NC State Wolfpack in the Final Four for a chance to win the program's third-ever national title.
