National Analyst Deems South Carolina's 2023 Schedule Toughest In CFB
As South Carolina fans look ahead to the upcoming football season, one of the things many people will seek out first is the team's schedule, which for the Gamecocks was released back on September 20th this past football season. South Carolina's schedule for the fall will involve an abundance of inherent intrigue because of the opportunity head coach Shane Beamer and his staff have to take to program to a new level.
There was plenty of talk last year about the difficulty of South Carolina's schedule. It appears that will be the case again; according to national analyst Phil Steele, the Gamecocks have the toughest schedule in the country this upcoming fall.
It's a known fact already that life in the SEC isn't for the fate of heart, but with all four of South Carolina's non-conference opponents in 2023 being nine-plus win teams from this past fall, the road will only be bumpier this time around for the Gamecocks.
While it appears South Carolina will take the road less traveled this fall, Beamer has proven every step of the way that he has what it takes to elevate this program to new places.
