Three Offensive Players To Watch: Tennessee

South Carolina's football team faces off against the Vols this weekend, who possess multiple talented playmakers on the offensive side of the ball.

As the South Carolina Gamecocks prepare to take on the Tennessee Volunteers this weekend, there are a few key offensive players that the Gamecocks need to keep an eye on. The Volunteers have a formidable offense that has showcased its talent for the last several years under Josh Heupel. Here are three players that Clayton White's unit will need to keep in check:

WR Ramel Keyton

Ramel Keyton may not be quarterback Joe Milton's most consistent 'go to' target, but he has undoubtedly been one of the most explosive. With 205 yards on only 12 catches this season, Keyton is averaging an impressive 17.1 yards per catch. This indicates his ability to make big plays and stretch the field, which could pose a significant challenge for the Gamecocks' secondary. They must be on high alert to prevent Keyton from breaking loose for long gains.

RBs Jaylen Wright & Jabari Small

Jaylen Wright and Jabari Small have significantly contributed to the Vols' success this season. In just four games, they have combined for a whopping 570 yards on 87 carries, averaging an impressive 6.6 yards per carry. This potent one-two punch in the running game presents a significant challenge to the Gamecocks' defense. They will need to step up their run defense to contain Wright and Small and prevent them from controlling the game's tempo with their powerful ground attack.

WR Squirrel White

Squirrel White is another player the Gamecocks will need to pay special attention to. He is quick fast, and has been Milton's go-to receiver lately. His playing style is similar to that of Mississippi State's Tulu Griffin, who gave the Gamecocks a hard time last week. White's speed and agility could pose a significant problem for the Gamecocks' defense if they don't keep him under control. The Gamecocks will need to make a collective effort to keep him in front of them and prevent him from making game-changing plays.

The Gamecocks will have their work cut out against the Vols this weekend. These four players - Keyton, the running back combo of Wright and Small, and White - could potentially be game-changers. If the Gamecocks can successfully limit their impact, they have a good chance of coming out on top. However, if these players are allowed to shine, it could be a long day for South Carolina's defense.
