The South Carolina Gamecocks have been dealt a tough hand as far as the collective health of their offensive line is concerned. Projected starting left tackle Jaylen Nichols suffered a left knee injury in the Spring game in April, which, according to Beamer, will sideline him for at least most of the 2023 season, with the possibility that he could return in November. The Gamecocks' week one starter at right tackle, Cason Henry, was lost in the first quarter of the North Carolina game after getting rolled up from behind and is still progressing to try and make it back.

Highly touted freshman o-lineman Markee Anderson was lost for the season last week due to a knee issue that needed to be cleaned up through a procedure. Now the Gamecocks have lost another offensive lineman, Ni Mansell, who suffered a season-ending injury in practice on Sunday night. According to Beamer, this means that seven offensive linemen aren't practicing right now, drastically affecting how South Carolina can practice. We also learned that reserve lineman Chase Sweigart is out right now and that Ryan Brubaker is also out for the year.

Jakai Moore's got a bit of a banged-up shoulder that he's dealing with in the aftermath of the Mississippi State game, but he should be fine for Saturday. As was expected, Juice Wells will be out for the Tennessee game as he continues to try and bounce back from his lower-body injury that caused him to leave the Georgia game after one offensive possession. However, wide receiver Ahmarean Brown, who's been dealing with a bit of a hamstring issue since the Furman game, was back with the team practicing today, and it sounds like he's good to go for the Tennessee game.

Defensive backs David Spaulding and O'Donnell Fortune are fine, with Fortune being back in practice today, and walk-on running back and special teamer Bradley Dunn is still out with an ankle sprain.
