With how they have largely performed to this point in the season, the South Carolina Gamecocks are back in a role that fans are used to seeing every year: the underdog. In the SEC, few teams will ever be the favorite in every conference game, and considering what life on the road has been like for most teams this college football season, it's especially the case in those instances.
South Carolina hasn't been favored in a single game away from Williams-Brice Stadium since their matchup against the Vanderbilt Commodores in week ten of the 2022 season. That trend continued on Sunday with the opening lines released for their impending road matchup against the Texas A&M Aggies.

Combining South Carolina's recent performances, this game being on the road and the fact that the Aggies are coming off of a bye week, it's fair to see why the number is hovering around two touchdowns for the Gamecocks sixth SEC contest of the season.
