South Carolina is getting healthier at the right time, as the Gamecocks are in the midst of trying to sweep the month of November in their quest to qualify for a bowl game. While the majority of their offensive linemen who haven't suffered season-ending injuries are beginning to return, one lineman won't be back with the team this week, as Shane Beamer ruled Trai Jones OUT for the Vanderbilt game this week.

Two other Gamecocks whose statuses remain up in the air are Dakereon Joyner and Trey Knox. Joyner left yesterday's game against Jacksonville State with a lower-body injury, and didn't return; he's doubtful to play this coming Saturday. Trey Knox went through the same set of circumstances the previous week against the Texas A&M Aggies; Knox remains questionable according to Carolina's head man.

Beamer also provided an update on two South Carolina players who be heavily factoring into their gameplan if healthy: wide receiver Antwane Wells Jr. and offensive lineman Jaylen Nichols. Shane said that Juice is farther along than Nichols, and was jogging tonight and last week. He remains adament that Wells wants to make it back before the conclusion of the season. Jaylen Nichols, on the other hand, seems less likely to make a return this season, as he continues to go through rehab from the knee injury he suffered in the Spring game back in April.
