REPORT: Former Gamecock WBB Star Aliyah Boston To Be Guest Analyst For ESPN's Coverage of Women's Final Four
Dawn Staley has turned South Carolina's women's basketball program into one of the more prominent powers in all of college sports. Part of the evidence for this is the growing number of all-star caliber talent that the Gamecocks have sent onto the WNBA over the past several years, including last year's No. 1 overall pick, and former national champion, Aliyah Boston. While Boston now spends her days playing for the Indiana Fever, any who follows her on social media knows she still keeps up with her alma mater to a significant degree.
This weekend, all Gamecock fans who tune into ESPN's coverage of the NCAA Women's Final Four in Cleveland will get to hear Aliyah's first-hand analysis of the action, as it was reported by the Sports Business Journal's Mollie Cahillane on Wednesday morning that she'll be a guest commentator for ESPN. Although Boston will surely do her best to be impartial, everyone will know who she's pulling for in the end.
