Colin Murray-Boyles Continues National Success
South Carolina commit Collin Murray-Boyles has had a string of recent impressive performances. He scored 16 points, seven rebounds, and four blocks against one of high school basketball's most dominant programs, IMG Academy.
After this performance against IMG and others, Murray-Boyles is moving up in the rankings. On3 updated their top prospects list, and he came in at No. 96 overall and is the top player in Utah. Head coach Lamont Paris has done a strong job of recruiting the Palmetto State since arriving in Columbia. Several of their top targets are from South Carolina, and they typically reciprocate interest.
Forward GG Jackson is a strong example of this. Paris established a precedent of elite prospects staying home, and Murray-Boyles could continue that. They are also evaluating prospects like Cam Scott, a Kentucky resident who used to live in South Carolina. Georgia's KJ Greene has also separated himself as an early target for the 2024 class. Recruiting will be critical moving forward with South Carolina's recent on-court struggles.
