Cameron Brink and Haley Jones grace the cover of SLAM Magazine
Stanford's Women's basketball team is led by two seasoned veterans who also happen to be two of the best players at the college level.
The No. 2 Stanford Cardinal have championship aspirations, and if they are able to reach that mountain top again it will likely be thanks to the play of junior Cameron Brink and senior Haley Jones.
They are first and second on the team in points and rebounds with Brink leading the way averaging nearly 15 points and 10 rebounds per game, while Jones adds 13 points and 9 rebounds per game. Stanford's two stars have countless accolades such as All-American, All-Pac-12, and an infinite amount of Pac-12 player of the week honors, but can now say they have added another impressive accolade to their names.
The two are featured on the latest edition of SLAM Magazine (242) and had a great story written about them and their hopes to win another championship.
The Cardinal have won four straight games after suffering their first Pac-12 loss since 2021 and second loss of the season on January 15 to USC, and before they win a National Championship need to focus on winning the Pac-12 Championship first.
Their final stretch of games features three top-25 opponents, consisting of four of the five best teams in the conference.
Stanford fans and their two stars have one thing in common, which is a hope that they are able to win it all again but it will not be easy.
