Over the past few days, the recruiting sites have been updating their rankings for both football and basketball.

On3's Jamie Shaw recently dove into the basketball recruits across the country that saw the biggest rise in their rankings, and among them was Stanford 2024 commit Elijah Crawford. Shaw revealed that the star guard for Brewster Academy (NH) by way of Georgia jumped a whopping 42 spots.

Crawford saw his ranking go from No. 136 in the country to No. 93 in the country, with all of the recruiting services ranking him as a four-star, except for 247Sports.

Crawford is their lone commitment in the class of 2024, and is renowned for his aggressiveness on offense which Stanford badly needs from their guard spot. The Cardinal have been extremely reliant on freshman Kanaan Carlyle who has been their leading scorer for the majority of the season, but outside of him, they don't have a guard that can consistently create for himself and others.

It will be interesting to see if Carlyle declares for the NBA after what has been a great season for him, or if he will return and form what could be a dynamic duo with Crawford.
