Stanford's coaching staff is one staff member short following Monday's news that offensive line coach and run game coordinator, Klayton Adams, will be heading back to the NFL.

The former Colts tight ends coach was hired by Troy Taylor on December 13, but was lured back to the NFL by the Arizona Cardinals to be their offensive line coach. Adams first shot in the NFL was with the Indianapolis Colts in 2019 as an assistant offensive line coach, following a six-year stint with Colorado.

While he was only on the staff for a cup of coffee, he helped Stanford retain their offensive line recruits while also helping the Cardinal bring in two transfer offensive linemen.

Taylor will now have to move quickly in order to find Adams' replacement, but needs the right person for the job that can help develop what will be an inexperienced offensive line returning just one starter.
