Kyu Blu Kelly voted National team’s CB Practice Player-of-Week at Reese's Senior Bowl
The Reese's Senior Bowl is widely viewed as the premier All-Star game for college seniors that have NFL aspirations.
It gives players from across the country regardless of what school they attended, to compete with the best of the best. Stanford has three representatives at the event, and two of which have been widely considered as standouts. Receiver Michael Wilson has shown that he is fully healed from his season ending injury, and is able to route even the best defensive backs, while Kyu Blu Kelly has been locking some of the best pass catchers down.
Kelly's performance has been so impressive, that he was voted as the National team’s CB Practice Player-of-Week, which is voted on by his peers in the National WR group.
Kelly burst onto the scene in 2021 and had amazing performances that saw him absolutely shut down future first round pick, Drake London. This past season didn't go as planned for Stanford or Kelly, as neither were as strong as they had hoped going into the season.
With a solid performance at the senior bowl, Kelly is setting himself up to be back in the good graces of NFL scouts and bump up his draft stock.
Kelly finished his career at Stanford with 147 total tackles, 23 pass deflections, and three interceptions.
