Stanford (3-8) is hosting No. 18 Notre Dame (8-3) on Saturday for what will be the final game of their season.

As well as trying to hang onto the Legends Trophy, which they won last year in South Bend, Stanford is looking to build some momentum heading into the offseason. They will be doing so in style as well, as they revealed on social media on Wednesday that they'll be donning new helmets.

According to helmet history, this marks the first time in the program's history that they will have red helmets. It also marks the first time that "Stanford" is written out on the helmet as well.

It has become clear that the new staff is constantly working towards doing anything new whether it be the portal, aggressive recruiting, NIL, or new uniforms. This is the second new look that they have sported this season.
