Over the past week down in Mobile, Alabama, the 2023 Senior Bowl took place, featuring three practices before Saturday's game.

Players from Power 5 FBS programs, FCS schools and even Division II all participated in the game in front of NFL scouts hoping to catch the eye of a team ahead of April's NFL Draft. Stanford had three representatives at the event, but it was receiver Michael Wilson that stole the show.

He put on what could have very well been an MVP caliber performance had his teammate and Fresno State quarterback, Jake Haener, not played as well as he did. Wilson and Haener connected on a 44-yard that saw Wilson haul in the catch despite two defenders being in the area.

Wilson finished the game with four catches for 76 yards, and reportedly boosted his draft stock from a day three target before the game, to now there being serious conversations about if he can move his way into day two.

Despite missing the final six games of the season, he still recorded 26 catches for 418 yards, and a team high four touchdown catches. Injuries plagued him throughout his time at Stanford which is likely why he was a day three prospect, but now that he has had a chance to play in front of scouts as well as he did, things may change for the better.
