The Pac-12 has now turned into the Pac-4 with little to no positive outlooks on the conference's future.

For a program like Stanford, they appear to have the most options of the four remaining schools but whether or not that is saying much is a different discussion. The Pac-12's Friday was one of the most hectic days in college football I have seen in quite some time, as in the span of two hours the conference looked like it was on the verge of pulling off a miraculous to save itself, but ended up losing Oregon and Washington while the remains four corner schools turned to the Big 12.

The conference appears to be on the verge of extinction with Oregon State, Washington State, Cal, and Stanford all fending for themselves. Despite the inevitability of the Pac-12's fate, the conference released a statement that expresses disappointment in the programs that left and implies they will help the four schools find a home.

A statement that appears to be an obvious waving of the white flag, and one that has drawn a ton of criticism from fans and analysts alike. Friday's collapse of the Pac-12 will go down in history as one of the worst showcases of leadership in college sports possibly of all time.

As for the four programs, they are left hoping to receive an invitation to another conference.
