In this story:

Don't let all of the off the field drama surrounding the Pac-12 distract you from the fact that the conference that is known for craziness occurring, may have its wildest season yet.

There are six teams that have legitimate chances to win the Pac-12 with five of those teams having a case that they could be College Football Playoff teams. However, as we have learned in the four team era of the playoff, you can have at most one loss to get in. That is what makes the upcoming year of Pac-12 play that much more intriguing as all of the top teams will be playing a couple, if not more of the other top programs in the conference.

Despite having so many teams that could be contenders, College Football News didn't have a single team in the conference finish with a record better than 10-2. While it isn't a guarantee that a team cannot make it to the playoff with two losses, it has yet to happen. If the Pac-12 does in fact miss out on the playoff despite being in position to be the deepest conference in the country, it would be yet another gut punch.

Let's take a look at CFN's projected win total for every Pac-12 team.
