Despite beating Colorado on Saturday, the census around Oregon is that the team was in fact more excited to beat Deion Sanders

Deion Sanders has captured the attention of college football in a major way, but not everyone appears to appreciate his methods.

During No. 19 Colorado's matchup against No. 10 Oregon, a video of Dan Lanning's pregame speech to his team was aired by ESPN. The speech was filled with what appeared to be jabs at Sanders' popularity and social media presence and appeared to be the main reason that they wanted to beat Colorado as badly as they did.

The main comment that everyone has hung onto since was Lanning saying what motivated Colorado saying:

"They're fighting for clicks, we're fighting for wins."

Something that former Stanford and NFL star Richard Sherman believes "reeks of jealousy" as he explained on a recent episode of Undisputed.

Sherman explained that it shows Lanning is upset that he and quarterback Bo Nix aren't getting the same attention Sanders and his son/quarterback Shedeur were getting prior to the game.

Lanning and the Ducks blew out Colorado by a score of 42-6, which has since bumped Colorado out of the top 25. But, it also may have confirmed that teams are more excited to beat Deion Sanders the person, and not the team he coaches.
