Richard Sherman Calls Dan Lanning Jealous Of Deion Sanders, Calls Out Colorado For Behavior
It's a shame that the Pac-12 as we know it right now is collapsing at the end of the season.
Obviously, there are talks of the Mountain West and Pac-2 forming some kind of conference that may include relegation and promotion, but we will no longer have some of the intense rivalries we have now. However, in losing current rivalries we are also losing what could have been a great rivalry for years to come, with matchups like the one we saw on Saturday between Colorado and Oregon.
While the game itself wasn't much of a contest, the off-the-field antics between both teams showed a true disdain for one another. Something that Richard Sherman addressed on a recent episode of Undisputed, as he believes Oregon head coach Dan Lanning showed during his nationally televised pre-game speech he was jealous of the attention Deion Sanders gets from the media.
He also called out Colorado for being disrespectful to Oregon and the 'O' in the middle of their field, which is something that they got upset about when Nebraska players did it to them.
Clearly, there is some bad blood between the two programs, but unfortunately, we likely won't see them face off again.
Stanford has a matchup with Oregon on Saturday, and for their sake, Cardinal fans are hoping they learned what not to do against the Ducks.
