The biggest question about Troy Taylor and the new era of Stanford was in regard to how well they would be able to recruit.

Taylor and company have shown no issues attracting top talent, as their 2024 class is right outside the top 25 ahead of early signing day. They have also made some major strides with recruits in the 2025 class, as on Tuesday they were revealed to be one of the top 12 teams for three-star linebacker Mantrez Walker out of Buford, Georgia.

Joining Stanford among his top 12 are programs such as Michigan, Miami, Colorado, and Tennessee among others. According to 247Sports, Walker ranks as the No. 422 player in the country, the No. 43 linebacker, and the No. 48 player in the state of Georgia.

Walker exploded this season, recording 54 total tackles with four tackles for a loss.
