Troy Taylor and his staff have done it again on the recruiting trail as a couple of weeks after landing their quarterback of the future in four-star quarterback Bear Bachmeier, they added some protection for the future gunslinger.

On Monday, three-star offensive lineman Josh Williams announced his commitment to Stanford over notable programs such as Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Rutgers.

He marks the third commitment in Stanford's class following two players reclassifying to 2024, joining Bachmeier and three-star offensive tackle Siosiua Vete. With his addition, Stanford's recruiting class will jump from No. 40 to No. 28 in the country. Williams is a Haverford, Pennsylvania native, ranking as the No. 439 player in the country, Np. 26 interior offensive lineman, and No. 15 player in the state.

He's a freak of nature for his size at 6-foot-4 300 pounds, as on top of excelling in the gridiron at both tackle positions, he also shotputs and runs track, posting a 27.22 in the 200-meter.

The Cardinal continue to look to rebuild their offensive line after losing nearly the entire two-deep after the 2022 season.
