Stanford Lands De La Salle Linebacker Drew Cunningham

Stanford was able to make another addition to their 2024 recruiting class

Stanford made another addition to their 2024 recruiting class on Tuesday, as three-star linebacker Drew Cunningham announced his commitment to Stanford.

According to 247Sports, Cunningham held five offers from programs such as Army, Columbia, Penn, and Yale while also having interest from Cal and Stanford as a preferred walk-on.

This past season for De La Salle, he racked up 86 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks, and an interception. He ranks as the No. 191 linebacker in the country, and the No. 184 player in the state of California.

Class Superlatives For Stanford's 2024 Recruiting Class

He joins Stanford's class which ranks as the No. 30 class in 247Sports' composite rankings and will be the third linebacker of the class. He is someone who will likely move around a bit position-wise but has the potential to eventually carve out a role down the road.
