Troy Taylor and his staff continue to show that Stanford can utilize the transfer portal after making a late addition to the roster in Northwestern tight end, Chico Holt.

The Houston, Texas native was a part of Northwestern's 2023 recruiting class, but opted to transfer following the firing of coach Pat Fitzgerald due to hazing scandals. At 6-foot-5 and 220-pounds, Holt ranked as the No. 724 player in the country and was the No. 110 player in the state of Texas.

Prior to choosing Northwestern as a recruit, schools such as Cal, Michigan, and Texas were among the programs after him.

He recorded 45 catches for over 570 yards, while adding nine touchdown catches this past season for Strake Jesuit.

He joins a tight end room that is headlined by Benjamin Yurosek and Sam Roush, and marks transfer No. 7 for Troy Taylor.
