Stanford Lands Washington DB Transfer Jaivion Green
As Troy Taylor said on early signing day, the Stanford Cardinal did plan to pursue some transfer portal players despite the notion that the program is unable to.
On Sunday we finally saw some results as the Cardinal landed two transfers on the defensive side of the ball. After flipping Northern Iowa transfer Jahsiah Galvan from Wisconsin, they also brought in Washington defensive back transfer Jaivion Green who took to the app formerly known as Twitter to announce his commitment.
The former three-star recruit out of Houston, Texas went to Washington as a safety but is listed as a corner. He is expected to play safety for Stanford, who recently lost Alaka'i Gilman to Utah.
This past season, Green recorded 12 total tackles and a pass deflection in what was a veteran-heavy Washington secondary that made it to the national title game.
