On Tuesday evening, Stanford's senior linebacker Lance Keneley took to Twitter to announce that he would be entering his name into the transfer portal.

Keneley will be leaving Stanford with a degree, and as a fifth-year senior.

The former three-star recruit out of Mission Viejo chose Stanford over programs like Utah, Arizona State, Boise State, and Colorado among others.

In his final year in Palo Alto, he had his best statistical season, recording 35 total tackles and 1.5 sacks in nine starts and 12 appearances. He will look to provide a defense elsewhere, an experienced defender.

Being that he is a grad transfer, he doesn't have to wait for the spring portal to open to begin his search.
