The Stanford Cardinal are taking some major swings in Troy Taylor's second year as the head coach, and they are clearly already paying off.

On top of adding one of the top quarterbacks in the country in Bear Bachmeier, they are in the mix for a pair of four-star receivers. On Thursday, Stanford was named as a finalist for four-star receiver Vernell Brown III, and it was also revealed that they would be hosting four-star receiver Daylan McCutcheon for an official visit.

The Lovejoy High School product has five official visits scheduled, as he is set to take a trip to Texas, Ohio State, USC, Florida State, and Stanford.

Stanford will get the final visit on April 18, which could give them a major advantage by being the most fresh in his mind. According to 247Sports' composite rankings, McCutcheon ranks as the No. 87 player in the country, No. 11 wide receiver, and the No. 15 player in the state of Texas.
