Stanford to host top-60 2025 DL recruit Jalen Wiggins for official visit
Stanford is in dire need of talent being pumped into the roster at just about every position in order to continue to rebuild, but the one position that stands out for needing a ton of reinforcements is the defensive line.
The Cardinal used to pride themselves on being disruptive in the backfield, but over the past few seasons have lost their ways on defense. Troy Taylor's new staff is looking to dominate in the trenches, and according to a recent 247Sports report, they will have a chance to impress one of the top defensive linemen in the country.
247Sports' Tom Loy reported that Stanford is set to host four-star defensive lineman Jalen Wiggins for an official visit on May 31.
Wiggins is currently committed to the Florida Gators, but is making sure to see all of his options as he also has a visit scheduled for Florida State.
He ranks as the No. 55 player in the country, No. 5 defensive lineman, and the No. 10 player in the state of Florida. The Tallahassee native was a dominant force this past season, recording 97 tackles, 31 tackles for a loss, 37 quarterback hurries, and 16 sacks.
