On Wednesday, four-star wide receiver and Stanford commit Emmett Mosley received his jersey for the 2024 All-American Bowl.

The Rancho Santa Margarita, California native is ranked as the third-highest recruit in Troy Taylor's first class at Stanford, and is expected to make an immediate impact.

In an interview with 247Sports' Greg Biggins, Mosley discussed how excited he is to be selected for the All-American Bowl even though he can't partake due to an injury that prevented him from playing this year. He also touched on how excited he is to get to Palo Alto in January, as he along with a handful of other recruits will be enrolling early. Among the more notable ones is four-star quarterback Elijah Brown out of California powerhouse Mater Dei.

“I still feel great about my decision,” Mosley told Biggins. “I’m super excited and it’s just now starting to hit me that I’m going to be there in just a couple of months.

He continued saying:

“I’m an early grad so I’ll be on campus in January. Stanford didn’t used to allow early grads but there’s like six or seven guys in my class that will be there in January. I’m not sure who I’m rooming with yet but hopefully Elijah (Brown) since he’s coming in early too.”

While Stanford (3-6) hasn't had the best of years, there have been dramatic improvements made under Taylor and the new staff. Something Mosley touched on, while also discussing the impacts he hopes to have moving forward.

“It’s a process but I like the staff and have total faith in them and in my decision. My goal is to come in and be ready to make an early impact and I can’t wait to get going."

Mosley chose Stanford over programs such as UCLA, Alabama, USC, and Notre Dame where his mother and father both were athletes. If healthy, he may have a chance to carve out a major role for himself by enrolling early as we saw true freshman Tiger Bachmeier do.
