In this story:

It's not often that Stanford is able to have a freshman enroll early, but four-star receiver Tiger Bachmeier was able to do just that and it appears to be paying off.

The talk around the farm indicates that he has a legitimate chance of starting right away and has quickly impressed the new staff. He also is impressing those around the country, as he was recently named to 247Sports' preseason true freshman All-American team ahead of the 2023 season.

Chris Hummer spoke highly of him taking advantage of being an early enrollee while also raving about his route running ability.

Stanford desperately needs help at wide receiver and Bachmeier seems capable of providing it right away. The sole early enrollee in the Cardinal’s 2023 class, Bachmeier impressed during spring ball and is drawing regular first-team reps this fall. An ultra-productive high school receiver with advanced route running ability for his age, Bachmeier should be a high-end contributor for Stanford this year. Tiger is the younger brother of former Boise State QB Hank Bachmeier, who's now at Louisiana Tech.

The Cardinal will need Bachmeier and other receivers like Mudia Reuben and John Humphreys to emerge due to the fact they lost their three leading receivers to the NFL. Stanford is also set to be fielding a new quarterback and offensive line, meaning there will be a lot of new names to learn in 2023.

However, if there is one name you need to know, it is Tiger Bachmeier.
