WATCH: Brycen Tremayne talks about his amazing college journey and overcoming adversity

Brycen Tremayne went from walk-on to having a chance to being an NFL draft pick

To find a story similar to that of Stanford receiver Brycen Tremayne's would seemingly be impossible.

The Los Angeles native has overcome adversity multiple times in his young career, and is now on a journey to go from walk-on to NFL player. Coming out of Windward School in Los Angeles, Tremayne who was ranked as the No. 524 receiver in the country and was rated as a two-star recruit, held just one offer and it wasn't Stanford. His lone offer to play football at the the next level was Harvard.

He walked on at Stanford where he found some success as a rotational piece before he emerged as the team's best jump ball catcher. However, his third year which also had the makings of what would be his best year was cut short by a gruesome leg injury against Oregon during the fifth game of the season. An injury that some thought would end his career, but Tremayne overcame the odds and returned to the field this past season. Something he talked about with Pac-12 Networks' Yogi Roth.

Tremayne finished his career at Stanford with 74 catches for 1,017 yards and 11 touchdowns with his final season being his best, recording 38 catches for 490 yards in 12 games.

He joins Tanner McKee, Michael Wilson, and Elijah Higgins as Cardinal from the offensive side of the ball hoping to hear their name called in this year's upcoming NFL Draft.
