Christian McCaffrey's Touchdown Turns $5 Into A Fortune For One Fan
On Monday evening in what was the most-watched Monday Night Football game in 27 years, one football fan in particular had major stakes that were reliant on just one player in the game.
That person happened to be former Stanford running back and current San Francisco 49ers star, Christian McCaffrey. A bettor went viral after his 14-leg parlay had hit on the 13 first legs, with the final one just requiring a McCaffrey touchdown. Something McCaffrey seemingly does nearly every game.
While many fans likely had some sort of action on McCaffrey scoring, this bettor's five-dollar bet would net him $489,383.01.
His Christmas miracle came to fruition in the second quarter, as McCaffrey powered in a score from nine yards out, securing possibly the best Christmas gift yet.
As for the 49ers, they ended up getting throttled by the Ravens, losing by a score of 33-19. Quarterback Brock Purdy looked rattled all game long, and ended up throwing four picks. McCaffrey and the 49ers will look to bounce back against the Commanders in DC on Sunday.

McCaffrey has now totaled a career-high 1,395 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns (one shy of his career-high) on the year, while also adding 63 catches for 537 yards and a career-high seven touchdowns.
