On Friday, The Associated Press revealed their  2023 NFL All-Pro Team, and former Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey was just one of the three players who made it unanimously.

Joining him in receiving all 50 votes was his teammate, 49ers linebacker Fred Warner, and Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill. This is the second time in McCaffrey's career that he has received this honor, and it comes as no surprise. He has been in the mix for the NFL MVP all season, and also won the NFL rushing title this season, becoming the first 49ers player since Joe “The Jet” Perry did so twice, in both 1953 and ’54.

While there are a handful of playoff games going on over the next couple of days, McCaffrey and the 49ers are sitting at home like the rest of us. They ended up clinching the top seed in the NFC, which gave them a first-round bye.

On the year, McCaffrey has rushed for a league-leading 1,459 yards and 14 touchdowns, while adding 83 catches for 564 yards and seven touchdowns. According to a report by ESPN's Nick Wagner, he didn't practice this week but is expected to return next week ahead of their divisional-round game.
