LOOK: Former Stanford Star Christian McCaffrey Selling Massive Charlotte Mansion For $12.5 Million

Former Stanford star running back is in the midst of a Super Bowl run and a real estate win
In this story:

In his one-and-a-half seasons in San Francisco, former Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey has been an absolute monster and menace to the league.

He has emerged as the best running back in the entire NFL, and can hurt opposing defenses on the ground as he won the rushing title this year, or in the passing game. This comes as no shock to Stanford fans who remember him during his time in Palo Alto donning the No. 5, and scoring touchdowns in every way imaginable.

His electric college career led to him being taken in the first round with the No. 8 overall pick by the Carolina Panthers. While he had some bright moments and also some disappointing ones in Carolina, he has clearly hit his stride back in the Bay. On Thursday, it was revealed that he officially decided to sell his lake house mansion in North Carolina for what is being reported as a hefty price of $12.5 million.

Clearly there are some perks in being a top draft pick and one of the best players in the entire NFL.

As for how he is doing this season, McCaffrey and the San Francisco 49ers are one more win away from appearing in the Super Bowl and two more wins away from hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. He and the 49ers will be hosting the Detroit Lions this weekend in the NFC Championship. In terms of his stats, he has rushed for 1,459 yards (career-high) and 14 touchdowns, while also adding 564 receiving yards and seven touchdowns through the air.
