With the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup starting in just a couple days, the Stanford Cardinal will be represented in Australia/New Zealand.

There are five former Cardinal that were selected to be part of the 23 person team, with four of the five making their World Cup debuts. They and the team will be opening up group play on July 21 against Vietnam in New Zealand, with the game being televised on Fox. They then will take on Netherlands on July 26, and Portugal on August 1.
