Stanford set to host four-star OT Ziyare Addison
The rebuild in the trenches at Stanford continues as the Cardinal are looking to continue to bolster a position group that was decimated by the portal after the 2022 season.
While one may be asking how they are still recovering from that exodus, Stanford lost their entire starting line and a majority of the reserves with experience as well. Troy Taylor and his co-offensive line coaches Al Netter and Viane Talamaivao have been making major pushes across the line, and in the 2025 class have been generating interest from some of the biggest recruits in the country.
On Tuesday, it was four-star offensive tackle Ziyare Addison who took to Twitter to announce that he would be taking a trip to Stanford.
The Florida product ranks as the No. 132 player in the country, No. 14 offensive tackle, and the No. 16 player in the state of Florida. He is an extremely highly sought-after recruit, with nearly 40 offers.
The Cardinal currently hold three commits in their 2025 class, with two of them across the offensive line. While Stanford did get some players much-needed experience last season, the offensive line was the team's weakest unit and often impacted what Taylor could call on offense. Meaning, the more beef up front that they can get, the better.
