While this was Cameron Brink's first Fiba 3X3 experience, it  wasn't her first USA Basketball rodeo. She was a part of the gold medal U-17 and U-19 World Cups in 2018 and 2019.

As she is known for in Palo Alto, her tough defense helped the team beat the reigning champs, France to secure the Gold. Brink lead the competition with 10 blocked shots and 39 rebounds, and was also the USA’s second-leading scorer behind fellow college player, LSU transfer Hailey Van Lith.

Brink and her three teammates had to overcome adversity, as Team USA lost its opening game against Canada. This forced them to have to their next seven games, beating Austria in the quarterfinals, China in the semifinals and France on Sunday en route to the title.

The gold medal win punched the American women's ticket to the Olympic qualifying tournament.
