In this story:

For the second straight game, Syracuse basketball was run out of the building as Clemson dominated the Orange from start to finish for an 91-73 victory just days after Duke beat SU by 22. With the loss, Syracuse dropped to 16-12 (9-8) on the season. Next up is another tough road game at Pittsburgh on Saturday.

This game was really never close. Clemson's first offensive possession was indicative of how the game would play out. The Tigers got four wide open three pointers, missed the first three but got offensive rebounds on each, and drilled the fourth. Clemson would be hot from the outside the rest of the game. Clemson jumped out to a 13-3 lead in the first few minutes and it was seemingly over from there.

Syracuse would battle back to trim the lead to five, but Clemson would push it to as many as 17 in the first half and lead by 13 at halftime. The Orange never got closer than 11 in the second.

Judah Mintz was the lone bright spot for Syracuse, but he received almost no help. He led the team with 23 points including four made three-pointers. Clemson dominated on both ends of the floor and on the boards. When Syracuse tried to press, the Tigers broke it easily. Hunter Tyson torched Syracuse with 29 points and 10 rebounds including six made threes.

Mike's career started with his own free blog as a way to vent following sporting events. Shortly thereafter, a network of basketball sites called Coast 2 Coast Hoops asked him to run their Syracuse site. That site was called Nation of Orange, and Mike quickly established it as a go-to for Syracuse fans.  After running Nation of Orange for several months, a position with the Syracuse site on the Scout network became available. After one year as the recruiting expert with Cuse Nation, he was named the publisher. Mike oversaw the transition from Scout to 247Sports, and ran the site on that network for years.  Presented with the opportunity to join one of the biggest names in the sports journalism industry, Sports Illustrated, Mike jumped at the chance. All Syracuse was started from scratch by Mike and the Fan Nation team. It has now become a staple for Orange fans of various sports.  Mike has broken news on recruiting, Syracuse basketball and football team information and has established himself as the top recruiting inside in the market.
