Series History: The all-time series is tied 31-31-5 entering Saturday's contest. Syracuse, however, has won the last 16 meetings. The first meeting between the two schools came back in 1891 and the rivalry is the Orange's third longest in terms of number of games. Colgate's last win came in 1950. In the last 10 meetings, Colgate has only reached double digits twice and kept Syracuse under 40 points twice. Jim Brown still holds the record for single game rushing yards in the series, running for 197 in 1956.

Syracuse football enters the 2023 season looking for back to back bowl games for the first time in a decade and back to back winning regular seasons for the first time in 22 years. Presented with the opportunity to join one of the biggest names in the sports journalism industry, Sports Illustrated, Mike jumped at the chance. All Syracuse was started from scratch by Mike and the Fan Nation team. It has now become a staple for Orange fans of various sports.
