Syracuse Football's Coaching Staff to Date
Fran Brown's first staff at Syracuse is not complete, nor have many additions to it been officially announced. In fact, to date only he and defensive coordinator Elijah Robinson have been formally announced by the program. That said, there has been reporting as well as social media information that has led us to know several others on staff. Here is how things currently look based on those reports.
Note: The parenthesis after the name indicates the position the coach is leaving to come to Syracuse.
Offensive Coordinator/Running Backs: Jeff Nixon (New York Giants running backs coach)
Quarterbacks: Nunzio Campanile (Syracuse tight ends coach)
Wide Receivers/Passing Game Coordinator: Ross Douglas (New England Patriots wide receivers coach)
Assistant Wide Receivers: Devin Redd (Delaware State wide receivers coach)
Tight Ends: Mike Johnson (Syracuse wide receivers coach)
Offensive Line: Dale Williams (Louisville senior quality control analyst)
Defensive Coordinator: Elijah Robinson (Texas A&M co-defensive coordinator, defensive line, assistant head coach, interim head coach)
Defensive Ends: Nick Williams (Colorado defensive ends coach)
Defensive Tackles: Unknown
Linebackers: Robert Wright (Buffalo defensive coordinator)
Defensive Backs: Unknown
Special Teams Coordinator: Bob Ligashesky (same)
Another note: Elijah Robinson has extensive experience coaching the defensive line. It is entirely possible he coaches the defensive tackles in addition to being defensive coordinator. However, in the official announcement of his hiring that was not stated.
