Series History: Syracuse and Boston College have quite the rivalry in women's college lacrosse. The Orange holds a 17-10 all-times series lead, but the Eagles have won some of the most important matchups. Boston College beat Syracuse in the 2021 National Championship game and ended the Orange's undefeated season this year in the regular season finale.

Syracuse Coming In: Syracuse came into the NCAA Tournament having lost two of three after starting the season 15-0 and being ranked at the top of the polls. The Orange had clearly looked like the best team all season until a sloppy second half against Boston College in the regular season finale seemed to zap some of that momentum. It carried into the ACC Tournament where Syracuse struggled against Virginia Tech before getting blown out by North Carolina. Still, Syracuse earned the two seed in the NCAA Tournament and boasts one of the top offensive attacks along with goalkeeping in the country. Syracuse looked much more like itself in a dominant 25-8 victory over Johns Hopkins and 13-7 win over James Madison to advance to the Final Four. Now the Orange is hoping to get revenge on the Eagles and closer to its first ever National Championship.

Boston College Coming In: The Eagles are in the Final Four for the sixth straight year and has five straight National Championship game appearances entering the matchup with Syracuse. Jenn Medjid leads the Eagles with 100 points, while McKenna Davis and Belle Smith are right behind with 84 and 81 points respectively. Boston College blew out Notre Dame 20-6 to reach the Final Four.

Title: Publisher All Syracuse Education: Roberts Wesleyan College Location: Syracuse, New York Expertise: Syracuse basketball, football and recruiting.  EXPERIENCE Mike McAllister has been covering Syracuse basketball, football and recruiting for more than a decade. Mike's career started with his own free blog as a way to vent following sporting events. Shortly thereafter, a network of basketball sites called Coast 2 Coast Hoops asked him to run their Syracuse site. That site was called Nation of Orange, and Mike quickly established it as a go-to for Syracuse fans.  After running Nation of Orange for several months, a position with the Syracuse site on the Scout network became available. After one year as the recruiting expert with Cuse Nation, he was named the publisher. Mike oversaw the transition from Scout to 247Sports, and ran the site on that network for years.  Presented with the opportunity to join one of the biggest names in the sports journalism industry, Sports Illustrated, Mike jumped at the chance. All Syracuse was started from scratch by Mike and the Fan Nation team. It has now become a staple for Orange fans of various sports.  Mike has broken news on recruiting, Syracuse basketball and football team information and has established himself as the top recruiting inside in the market.
